alri lads need some help im doing an engine swap and i need a loom and ecu and the only one i can find is in a auto forester would the ecu run my manual car if the auto control unit was just disconnected i have to do a loom merge so all i need is the ecu to run the motor if that makes sence?cheers for any help!its non turbo btw
 
It should do. I kept the auto ECU in my wagon when i converted from auto to manual and it's running perfect. I didnt actually do the work but there's some of the details the guy e mailed me in my project thread
 
ye ive looked at couple threads so far and it seems doable just want to know what im getting into b4 i start buying stuff!where can i find ur project thread?
