Lads was thinking of removing the center section cat on my standard legacy exhaust,but was wondering about the other box thats further back if its a silencer and if I removed both and put a straight threw on would it give a bit of a rumble to it?
 
Yeah that second box is the resonator, removing both will give you a better sound for sure, but may be too free flowing for a standard map
 
wat do you mean free flowing? Wit it be less power or give me boosting issues?? Mite remove both an put straight threw pipe if car will run fine ill go ahead and do it??
 
Your basically making a DIY Decat, and its always advisable to map to one of them

I did it to mine and got over boost, some people do it and get no negative effects
 
Yea I get ya now, if I do decide to do it ill keep my section wit cat an resonator box incase it goes wrong I can put back on.!
