Sound deadening removal

Hey all,

Long and short of it... I've spent too many hours trying to remove the sound deadening from the project car. I've tried heat... And it makes more mess than its worth. I've also just tried pipe freeze spray as I've heard if it can be chilled it will come off easier if brittle.

I contemplated using liquid nitrogen but its bloody dangerous stuff or even dry ice chips. Has anyone any other ideas for removing it easier?? I've a right pain in my b***ox at this stage with it!!

Cheers,

J...

I just used an old bluntish wood chisel and mallet, and wire brush on a drill to finish it off.
Colder would be better as it would come off in bigger sizes.Cold winters morning would be ideal for this job.
Anything that would get it cold or even frozen would be ideal.Soul destroying job but i did a bit here and there over
a few weeks so not too bad.
