engine swap ej 16 to ej20

alri lads need some advice,i have an 06 1.6 and ive taken the 1.6 out and dropped a rebuilt sohc 2 ltr into it!my problem is the wiring the 1.6 and 2 ltr are slightly different, at the back were the manifold loom meets the loom coming through the fire wall the brown and grey block connectors match up but theres a third black connector that the 2ltr doesnt have,ive traced the wires and its the egr valve that the 1.6 had,problem is when i fire up the engine it revs realy high between 2 and 3 thousand and drops down slightly when it warms up!i could put the 1.6 manifold on but i think it would realy restrict the 2ltr because the manifold is smaller and the throttle body is tiny so the other option is some how wire in the egr valve onto the 2ltr loom!im a bit confused on what the best way to go is any advice is appreciated cheers!

Have ya used the 2.0 ecu

no used the 1.6s ecu and as far as i know the ecu for the 2ltr is a 3 plug ecu nd the 1.6s is 4 plug so to do that it would have to be a complete loom change!
