Bugeye bootlid lock mechanism............

Does anyone know what secures the boot lock barrell into the bootlid on a bugeye impreza? Is it a circlip like would hold in an alloy wheel centre cap?

Anyways found mine hanging out today and cant figure out how to secure it to the boot lid and the metal bar that attaches to it.

Somethings missing. Anyone have the parts necessary and the know how??

Mine a c clip pushes into groove 99 classic

kinda thought as much........got something similar for an evo wheel centre cap a few years ago from local mitsubishi dealer.

Dont know any Subaru dealers around, anyone got one on a bootlid that they dont need??
