knock or rumbling noise when turning left

Altight as above any ideas had a good look at cv boots look in good nick nothing loose no play in hub
could it be a inner cv?..

Just because the Cv boot isnt damaged doesnt mean its not the Cv joint.. Sounds like your outer CV joint... im 99.9% keyboard sure....

But... sometimes brake pads can make noises aswell.. im .1% sure its that

Although I give the same percentage figures as KenC did give above... it's really difficult to diagnose over the Internet using standard TCP/IP protocol...

We can stay here all night and day wondering whether its a CV joint (99.9 %) or brake pad (0.1%) and at the end of the day it could be just loose exhaust banging on something...

But we can say 100% that the CV could be fooked even do the boot is perfect..
