Lowering a forester

What's the cheapest way of lowering a 05 forester xt, have heard standard sti springs will work. Anyone know for sure?

yeah a/m shocks, kyb for example, and sti springs. now, they wont lower it much, but the handling will be much better.
if your going for low low, then you'll need coilovers, like for any car

[/quote] Thanks neelie, i got kyb shocks for the back and its sitting a couple of inches lower on the back. Just wanted to lower the front to match without changing the shocks as they are perfect.
