impreza not idling

well,im a novice at imprezas but i recently fitted a td05 20g turbo to my 98 type r and since fitting the car is not idling goes up through the gears fine but when i clutch and stop all it does is cut out like it was running out of petrol has anyone got any ideas,ideas on what it might need maybe injectors fuel pump remap etc thanks
 
would anyone suggest a good place to get the car mapped would love to have it running for crimbo new maf was a sucess

what ecu are you planning running?

is it a v4 or v5?

what clutch is installed?

what injector size?

uprated fuel pump?

o.e. or aftermarket fuel reg?

what spark plugs and gap size?

what engine? forged or standard?
 
standard ecu,forged pistons,walbro pump just fitted not sure about the injectors, helix clutch,standard TMIC,no fuel reg,prf 7 plugs tis a V5 car
 
Factory 440cc wont support 20g. Check and see what you have.

FMIC with that size turbo be best.

The idling issue would need be checked before mapping.
 
My car might be different but I'm running a 20g on 440 injectors and wrx ecu and running perfect! Now I know she is not running her full potential but she grand otherwise unless the stroker is counter acting with everything else :thumbsup:
 
As you said not running full potential.

Of course 440cc can run up to a certain level. But if the 20g produces as it should an upgrade to 550cc be wise.
