Cv joint

Front outer cv joint is buggered. Can i change just the cv joint or does it come as a complete drive to front box? Seeing alot of youtube video of guys changing the entire drive.
 
If you know how to change a cv joint then it's better to change it but it's a good bit easier to change the complete drive for a s/h one but personally I'd put on a new cv!
