Favour needed

Lads i have been nominated to help make a video collage for a family event party and need to digitise a load of old tapes from mainly Hi8 format and mini dv. my hi8 tape heads are knackered as the thing i have is about 15 years old and charger is broken to my mini dv one. Does anyone have a camcorder in either format that i could borrow for a few days, to back them up onto PC?

I definitly have an old cannon camcorder at home i think it's a mini DV.
If anybody is headding from Cork to Dublin you can have it or maybe i could
courier it to you

that siad most fuji labs are now transfering all such media types to DVD cost is aprox €15 per tape
