boot damper???

well my brothers blob wrx tried to take my head off awhile ago,was taking stuff out of the boot and the boot decided to close down on my neck :angry1:
so can you get a boot damper kit like the one you get for the bonnet??
 
its 2 torsion bars, at the back of the boot, that provide the spring for the bootlid. if the wing was changed to a heavier wing, its possible the STi torsion bars, would provide enough resistance to hold the lid up.
 
keep your head out of the boot might help alot Johnny :whistle:

same thing used to happen on my other imprezas , as ondafly said , sti torsion bars are probably the only way to save yourself safe
 
Give a look in the booth the next time johnny therers probley a hairbrush to prop it up :whistle: :roll:

[/quote]thats what i was taking out of the boot joe,all the hairdressy stuff :icon_razz:
 
probably be aswell buying the whole boot with them fitted , cant imagine there easy to fit , they come up on scoobynet fairly regular
