legacy b4 rsk gearbox oil leak

Sunday Drivers
hello all, i asunder my b4 rsk legacy today for an oil an filter change when i noticed gearbox oil on the base of the box itself (manual box) ..it wasnt dripping off it but it appeared to be running down the side of the box(drivers side), and along the bottom of the box..i though it may have been leaking from the drivers side drive shaft where it enters the gearbox..i cleaned it all up an will kepp an eye on it? is ther a way to check the garbox oil level and does this sound like a serious issue ?

Check the level and top up if you need to , if its only weeping Its not a huge issue , if you wipe it clean and it drips straight away the seals will have to changed there where the front shafts sit on the diff

cheers baz,, is the dip stick accessed frm the top of the engine or underneath ??]

Open the bonnet at its to the left of the intercooler, its tighter than the impreza bay but should be still accessible to check fluid level
