steam from vents

I was heading for a spin yesterday and all of a sudden steam pissed through the air vents for the wind screen. it didn’t matter if it was on hot or cold, fan on or off. the passenger footwell was soaked too. it lost loads of water so i had to stop cool down and refill twice on the way home. :dunno: :dunno: :dunno:

this happened to my old car, it was the cabin heater radiator, had a hole in it... pi$$ing coolant into the passenger footwell, pretty much all the dash had to come out to get at it. I really hope it's not that for your sake...

you should try and clean your carpet inside too, the antifreeze/coolant will leave a nasty mark there.

Sounds like the rad in the cabin heating to me, hot water comes direct from the engine into the cabin heating and then back out to the engine/rad.

Don't know how easy it would be to set that right  :dunno:

I thought as much lads. I took out the dash and center console last night but if its the rad heater then everything has to come out, everything! sound out for the help!
