New Mintex pads

I got a full set of Mintex Extreme pads fitted to my 03 wrx a week ago. I wonder do they take some time to bed in as i have done about 250 miles since i got them.
I even followed Mintex instructions that came with the pads on the correct bedding in proceedure and I  have to say I am a little dissappointed as I expected more from them ,I also fitted mintex racing fluid as well at time of fitting new pads.
In truth at the moment they dont seem much better than the original pads.

Took mine around 500 miles, but i must say they are excellent now.

Had a set on mine (classic) didnt realy notice any big difference on a day to day but when they warmed up worked a treat.
When the standard ones got any heat into them they were sh1t

Thanks for replies lads , but it seems they may just need more time to bed in ,
I sure hope so as I wasnt happy with the cars stopping power,prior to fitting them.

The pads may not be getting up to 'working' temp on daily road use....
Might be more suited to the track.
