Are they all the same between the wrx and sti with abs and I think R160 diff?

In on a spin today and when I turned right there was a rubbing grinding sound, similar to a tire rubbing. So suspected a passenger side rear wheel bearing. Stripped it down and was shocked at what I found, the inner cv boot clip was missing and the boot was just hanging there , all the grease gone from the joint and all over my exhaust :icon_lol:

Theres a bit of play in the cv joints inner and outer so maybe time to change that. Also the wheel bearing is suspect aswell its not smooth.

I got a pair of hubs of Scoobyturbo but unfortunely were not the correct ones :angry1:

Have to sort it before the trackday but money's tied up elsewhere :angry1:

Would it be possible to just repack with grease, change the boot.

The grease around it seems fresh, so you might just get away with it.

The cv might not be right off just yet.

Didn't the same with one of my split cv boots.

Bought one of those unversal cones and cv boots.

Had it all sorted in an hour.
