so, have a quick question maybe someone had an idea what it could be;
its a 2005 forester 2.0xt manual, throttle cable model.
accelerating (any gear) changing gear UP the revs rise quite fast about 500rpm when clutch is pressed.
they drop fairly slow to meet the rpm of the next gear. it means i have to clutch very slow.
it does NOT do this when i change gear DOWN. the rpm fall normally and fast when clutched.
anyone any ideas?
no fault codes, greased the throttle cable yesterday. it feels good, as does the clutch.
should i clean the throttle body? is it a map thing? clutch switch? (but that would read a fault code...)
thanks for any help, hope to change this as its a pain in the butt when pushing on a bit (it spins the clutch)
