Correct wheel offset for a Leggy?

Hi,
Anyone out there rolling on 17x7.5 rotas? I think 48mm is the correct offset to fit a Legacy but would like to check if anyone had any strut/fender clearance problems with these sizes before I buy.

The wheels that came with the car were changed by the dealer to aftermarket ones. I've noticed some vibration from time to time and if I carry any people in the back I can here loads of wheel rubbing on corners! :shock: I haven't measured them yet but I rekon they're the wrong offset.

i had a set on a 95 single turbo legacy years ago with 48 offset........

running 215/40/17........

tyre size like prodrive of 205/15/17 will sort this

205/15/17 ? god blessus you might as well paint the rim instead of having tyres

215/40/17 should be good enough or 215/35/18 if your running 18's

eh what...   right case of typeo error........

i was running 215/45/17.......  And a tyre size like prodrive uses of 205/45/17 on rb5 would have sorted it.. :hang: :hang: :hang: :computer: :computer:

Took one of the changed wheels off yesterday, it was a 17x7.5 with a 35mm offset , definitely not right for a Subaru. Probably go for those Rota SDR 17's now.
