Scoobycolm has the standard wrx system off his 00 classic maybe ask him to post up a pic of his system
If its just the hangers that are different im sure a pic of his should answer your question

1 exhaust hanger is the different on the back box as Ian said
down pipe has lamda sensor in a different position also I think
down pipe has lamda sensor in a different position also I think
if you fit the full exhaust you should be ok as all turbo back systems are the same length the only difference been the downpipe and centre section,also you dont have to use the rear hanger just the end two,hope that helps
