DCCD light flashing

After I had the type r parked up for winter I started her again a few weeks ago but there seems to be a problem with the dccd.
The light on the dash is flashing green all the time and she wont scroll through the settings. Would it be safe enough to drive her as normal? Anyone know what might be the problem?
 
First off check the ten amp fuse for the dccd . I think its under the glove box.
You could then check the wires going to the box. Maybe a mouse had a chew on one and it's shorting out. Other wise it will be something in the box gone wrong, so the box will have to come out and be stripped.

I checked the fuses under bonnet and theres another fuse box behind a pocket beside the steering column, checked them as well. I was afraid somebody was gonna suggest diff stripping :icon_sad:
Would it be safe to drive her to a garage?
 
Diff stripping is not ur next step, you need to check the wiring and the dccd control unit. The fact its been patked up Could well be a rat after eating wires as mentioned above
