Gearbox codes

Anyone know if a 99 uk impreza 2000 gearbox would fit a legacy B4 2000?

Check yours and compare with the one your getting for the ratio for diff.

The gearbox will fit but you need to ensure that it has the same drop gear ratio, otherwise you'll need to change the rear diff.

Come to think of it, i think the 5 speed used in the early B4's is the same one used in the uk turbo. You'd want to double check that first though
