Not reaching boost.

Car is only boosting to 1.14 bar and no more !!!
it's mapped for 1.3 bar , im taking this readding from the Apexi
Hand Controller and not pressure gaguge , so i take it, the result is accurate .

Now, i do need a new O2 sensor .........

What elese should i be checking , i had a quick look and all
hoses seem fine

Could be dodgy fuel Niall
Ecu might be pulling boost to reduce knock?

Best thing to do is rule out boost leaks, and crappy fuel
Then trouble shoot from there...

Happened to me a while back that car wasn't reaching full boost... turned out to be fuel related

The ecu would pulling timing not boost AFAIK I could be wrong.

Eric fair play i do remember a problem with boost solenoid in the past,
i suppose after 95,000 miles ...........it might be time for a new one


Robbie it's prob been like that for a while , i washed / polished car yesterday and only
noticed it after going for a quick blast , it has not been driven much over the last 12mths

Hammie , i ckecked knock levels and never went over 20 .

Think i need to go back over all the hoses / vacum pipes and look at new boost solenoid .
