Inter cooler pipe

Hi all,quick question for ye, the pipe going from turbo to the y pipe on the inter cooler keeps coming slightly loose so I'm loosening presher no matter how tight I tighten it, whats the cause & cure for this ???
 
is it the plastic pipe on wrx,s or silicone on sti,s?

what condition is the clips in?some clips you can tighten but then they will slip a tooth and loosen.

if theres alot of oil coming from somewere this doesnt help either as it will get between the pipe and cause it to come apart.

is it coming off at the turbo or intercooler side?
 
Turbo side, also silicone samco, clip looks good, & very little oil, going to try wider new clip when I get home
 
thats unusual as they dont then to come off in that place.

is the intercooler fixed in the the right place with no movement.

they are a hard enought pipe to get on and off so something musting be right
 
Id take the hose off and dip a rag in petrol to clean the inside of the pipe.This might help the silicone get a better grip on the turbo outlet.It doesnt sound like it the clamp is at fault
