Which brake line kit????

For both Goodridge and Hel, there seems to be 2 options:

Goodridge

One option seems to be for brembo and the other is listed as wrx/sti 01-07 when the sti has brembos anyway???? I would have thought all newage were the same setup, don't think there's a difference in the kits for the sti versus a wrx say..


Anybody know what the story is with the kits?
 
I had the same Goodridge kit to fit my competition brakes which is now fitted to brembos.

So should be all the same.
 
Hi Robbie, The brake lines are cheaper on camskills and I asked about postage and he said "£14.50 is a straight courier rate that we can change to £6 airmail if the order is only small - basically we use our common sense on small orders" There is no PINK ones though which would of been nice being the STI colour :icon_razz:
Did you order yet ? How much fluid would you need ? I heard 500mls but to order more in case of spillage. The motul comes in 500ml bottles.
 
Cheers Gary, sent them off an email anyway to see if they can confirm which kit i need :thumbsup: .. Bloody pain in the arse because as keith said, they are more than likely identical kits :hammerhead:

Ya they have a kit for prodrive 6 pot on all the STI models listed so i emailed them today as well so waiting on them to reply. I think the prodrive 6 pot is meant to be brembo and its a mistake on their website, they usually reply fast enough

Pain in the arse though, I asked about the clutch line as well and they said they have them but won't combine shipping "because of insurance purposes" :hammerhead: .. So £14.50 shipping or not at all :icon_rolleyes:

Off shopping elsewhere now to compare prices :thumbsup:
 
He told me if its a small package they'll only charge £6. What I did was ordered two bottles of Motul 5.1 aswell and was still only charged 14.50 :p

I asked them as I wanted a specific transparent blue that Hel do and they just said to put it in their comment box. Might be worth checking with them if they've processed your order yet and you might be able to change?

I ended up ordering a full set of brake lines and a clutch line as well for the sake of a few extra quid :thumbsup:

My order is well gone through. Ordered about a week ago. Blue will do :)
