Subwoofer options

Looking to add a bit more base to the car, i came across underseat subwoofers and enclosed subwoofers, im just wondering are these any good, not looking for sound competition winning quality just an easy to fit solution rather than going down the seperate subwoofer and amplifier option i have done in the past with older cars

something like this that is all in one and tuck it in the boot:

or under seat options like this:

I do have room in my rear parcel shelf probably for an 8" sub:

and get an amp to suit that.

just wondering if there is any point in the first two options. Anyone have either underseat or enclosed sub's in theirs?

Under the seat one looks the job.(might be added to shopping list)

Have fli speakers in mine and great sound off them.like that one Aswell.

Why not just upgrade speakers ??

Let us know what you go for

was going to do speakers too, but thought i would do sub first and see if thats enough for me, never really had an issue with the speakers apart from the fact they dont have too much low end bass. i will have to put it under my passenger seat though as no room for it under drivers seat, so not sure if that defeats the purpose of them.

out of the three dan the shallow mount is the way to go and mount it in the boot to one side make up a box that fits between the back of the car and the arch nice and neatly and mount the amp on the rear of the box, also i would go for the 10" as they provide the best compromise between punch and deeper bass note .the under seat ones are ok but you can feel the vibration under the seat, never used the other type

it would be going under pasenger seat Dec so it might not be too bad, i have read that the parcel shelf rattles like crazy if you use a larger than factory sun on the rear shelf.

found this one:

if your anyway handy at carpentry dan you could make one with some mdf 18mm and some sheets of fibreglass then cover with carpet and away you go
