Clutch pedal question

Hi all went for spin in rallycar last night, clutch is working fine, but pedal is slow to come up some times, like u need to be ready to flick pedal wit toe to get it to pop up car goes into gear perfect and is not slipping just pedal feels funny ????? Any help please
 
had the same problem in my impreza
it turned out to be a loose bolt on the clutch pedal
had it tightened up and went fine for another year
then loosened again so re tightened and off again
may be worth checking :thumbsup:
