I'm currently busy installing a Bee*R power builder into my car:
Legacy BE5 TT.
Year 2000
Not sure if its Revision B or C (trying to find this out) On ECU is Y3 sticker.
Manual Transmission
I followed the steps from Nasioc, as there is a full install guide for the Subaru's.

Now, I'm having some troubles with the box, and maybe someone here can help figure out the problem.
What I have done so far:
- Split the Green ignition wire from the Bee*r into 4 using diodes.
*I did insulate all the wires so they don't short circuit.
*The diodes are pointing towards the Bee*R
Then I used this diagram to splice in to the ECU wires.
When I started the car with all the REV and Gain knobs set to 0, the car idles fine.
As soon as I set the Gain to anything but 0, the ignition is being cut and the light on the device blinks.
*basically cuts ignition at idle.
The REV1 and REV2 knobs has no effect on the device at this time.
Diagnostics I have performed so far to find the issue:
1. I blamed the RPM wire being spliced into wrong location:
I removed the RPM wire, and ran a wire from ECU wire I spliced to my digital tachometer, and the correct RPM was displayed.
2. I tested the Earth wire, and no change.
3. I tested all the Diodes in the chain I created, power flows only to the Bee*R, not towards ECU.
Diodes I used were 1A, 600V Max Silicon Rectifiers.
This is doing my head in
Does anyone have any suggestions on why the Rev wont work?
