At the end of the track day the clutch started to slip on my car
it still drives but starts to slip on boost
just wondering should i go for a EXEDY Fast Road Organic Clutch Kit
i do a lot of city driving so dont want a clutch that is horibble to use
dont mind it slighly more hard but dont want it track like on a road car
also i wont be doing much mods to this car maye bigger turbo and re map max
is it worth doing or should i just go oem clutch kit
2000 subaru impreza turbo my00
also camskill was where i was going to order one
have a company name so can save on the v.a.t.
does anyone no somewhere cheaper
Thanks in advance for any advice

I would get the standard replacement exedy as a replacement. The bigger, more expensive kits are unneccessary on your car as the standard ones will hold over 300, and last as well if you are taking it handy around town most of the time

that would be perfect man thats what i have in mine you get a sharper feel to the clutch and some judder but nothing mental it is grand in traffic

Make sure you get the flywheel skimmed and take it handy for as long as possible and it won't judder too badly.

Standard OEM clutch is all you need. You don't need that fast road organic clutch that will judder in traffic.

Yeah I know I helped fit it
well worth having with the power you have
lovely car man :subaru:

I have the Exedy Pink Box - http://lateralperformance.co.uk/product.php/144/0/exedy_pink_box_subaru_impreza_6_speed_organic_240mm_clutch_kit__anti_judder_disk - in mine - needed to handle up to 400bhp without slipping - fine for normal driving but it is fairly heavy & tiresome on the leg for long periods of slow start-stop traffic during rush hour...

Really? Do you work in a garage then? Changing clutch is not a simple DIY job is it!
