scoobysub Well-known member ISDC Club Member Nov 17, 2011 #2 they hold the top of the shock which is then bolted to the car .when there gone there gone as far as i know. the bearing usually rusts out .some one will be along to :thumbs up: explain it better

Grahamo spec c Well-known member ISDC Club Member Nov 17, 2011 #3 you can remove them and try to grease them with good grease. if they are ancient just replace them. you can try quiten old ones with grease but the noise will come back quick.

Grahamo spec c Well-known member ISDC Club Member Nov 18, 2011 #6 think genuine they are around 170 a pop. got spurious ones a few months back, knocking within 2 months get the real deal and be done with it. or try japanparts.com for a cheaper real deal...........................
