Toshiba L500 19x laptop

Anyone got one?

My windows crashed and the licence code underneath is worn away.
So I can't reinstall it.

The code for the windows are all the same on this model.

Is the product key not on the installation disk or with the manuals?

No discs with these andy, I thought the same and went into soundstore and he said they don't come with them, you download it if you need it with your product code.

He said Toshiba will give me the code for round 70 euro, fook that cos all the codes are the same on these.

So just to find one, tried a lad on donedeal but haven't heard back.

More and more laptops and desktop computers are coming now with no disks at all. I guess its a manufacturer cost saving measure.
Users have to create their own recovery disks upon unboxing and first start up.

Ya I had everything backed up.

It crashed a few weeks agos, and put a non genuine windows on it.
It ran fine for a few days, then started getting very slow and unresponsive.

Turned off the security and it ran perfect for another few days and then crashed again.
