Knock sensor and emissions

for beginning. have fault with knock sensor(will be ordering new one shortly). CEL light sometimes come up sometimes not. if come up so ussually on clod engine. fault codes reading show knock sensor fault.

was in one garage to check emissions and they was bad main thing O2 sensor sometimes not working properly. they said that it is faulty. need to replace. Fault reading(cel light) didn't show o2 sensor.
one guy told me that bad emissions could be wrong due to bad knock sensor.

it could be true ? as if not in same will be ordering and o2sensor.

dont do anything else until you change the knock sensor

As said change your knock sensor first
I did mine a few weeks ago as it was running really crap and it ran so much better after that
I was getting throttle position sensor code as well as knock codes but all went away when knock sensor replaced so that could be causing other problems

New knock sensor in place pretty easy job to change it. car ECU reset and not shoing any more faults. engine running smoothly.
