am going to be changing the oil in the new scoob at the weekend
went to halfrauds this morning and they didnt have the usual Mobil 1 Motorsport 10/50 all they had was some new one Mobil 1 Motorsport 10/60 , i was just wondering if this one would be ok to use in the Scoob, its a 98 Uk Turbo

YES YES YES! buy it and never look back!

what i run, and its recommended buy a top engine builder in the UK i know and deal with, its the only oil he will use in all his Scooby builds! even the insane ones!

so in a word! YES

The 60 may be a bit heavy as winter is fast approaching

see point, but your oil temps will barely vary that much to make much difference will they?

yeah wud be a bit heavy when these cold winter mornings come(which wont be very long!!)I have a legacy and i use either 10/40 all year or 15/50 in summer!alot less time to warm up!
