tye size and brand????

hi im just looking to get new tyres and looking to get goodyear eagle f1's on her there 17in subaru alloys now which is the right size tyre for her, is it 215/40/17 or the 225/40/17 just lost with which would be suited for it, my car is an 99 sti impreza if this helps any help would be great :smile:
 
got p zero rosso on car great in dry, was worried about the wet until today drivin in torrents from thurles to waterford, great tyre :thumbsup:
 
well thats what i did't no as a few tyre places were saying to go with 215/40's thats why im lost withn the right size to go for is there much difference in 215 to 225 on them?
 
she's a 99 impreza sti whats on her now is 235/40/17 and they were on her when i bought her and i no there not the right size for her
