impreza wrx turbo max 4.200rpm?

Hi i bought subaru 1998 wrx 2 turbo, check engine light its on, and when i run its max 4.200 rpm, error 33,24,?

Theres you anwser so ,speed sensor :thumbsup: Change that and see how you get on

24 is Idle control problem also :thumbsup:

Yes of course. Do not drive on boost.
 
check the wiring and the plug connection at the sensor, i've seen a few rotten. it can also cause the idle code
 
omg i ready change Knock sensor, i clean IAC,camshaft sensor and still same.., maybe somebody know good garage(around dublin or wicklow)? who can check my scooby?

You need to have the ECU plugged into diagnostics to see what the problem is.
 
I'd say Ciaran Rs ra is closest to you.Give him a call.

Did your mate open that part worn tyre place in black horse ave, was in there today getting tyres for my subaru and he was telling me about his mate with this problems.

Don't go changing parts that don't need changed!!!
Error codes tell you where the issue is!!

why would you change all these if you were told it was the speed sensor??
