Help thread my block .

Hey lads . I was buildin my engine this eve when I noticed a pulled thread in the block
Would anyone hav a m11x1.25 thread insert or helicoil kit I could borrow. I would gladly pay for the use of it if anyone has one. I need it this week if anyone has one as I'm heading to the ring at the end of the month if my luck changes. Can someone help please.

I ordered a set of 14mm wrc studs today they should do the job :smiley:

I,m a mechanic and work in an engine reconditions should be able to manage it.
Is it much of a job ?.
 
its getting all the right size holes drilled and at the exact sizes .. and at the right depth .. also getting them tapped straight that far into the block ...
the stud is 14mm hence drill 12mm for that ... but because the stud is 14mm you have then have to upsize to allow for that ..
ive seen well know companys in england with good reps make a balls of doing this ...
 
Have the block nearly done now . Heads in the morning then back together Sunday hopefully . It's a bit of a job alright .
