Hey all,
Just wondering what is the normal boost for a 98 sti? atm the boost gauge shows about 1.

cheers for the reply - also when the car idles the needle points to below 0 - digits are like 500 - dont really understand the gauge to mush :dunno:
 
yeah depends on the guage,when your off boost it ans at idle it will be at a minus..(below 0)and then when its reved or on boost it will pick up to the boost pressure..+.9 or something like that,hope that makes sense...
 
oh ya lol - that was the important question I was mneat to ask ;p -

After a hard run, there is a lot of blue smoke coming from the turbo area in the engine( when the car is idling after the run) - this bad?
 
i checked but im failry sure theirs no leaks - engine looks very dry and theres no oil leaks on the ground
