Airbag and nct question

Lads read on some other sites that they are failing cars with non standard steering wheels now
As in my case the airbag light wont switch off so i took the bulb out and its passed all ncts so far even when the light was on but i know thats not the case anymore
If i change to say a nardi wheel they will fail it because its not standard on my model legacy
Anybody know if this is through?

Air bag light in dash will have to work(come on with ignition and go off after a few seconds)
As i was told earlier this year"if it leaves the factory with an airbag,it should have it"
In since april or may last year,hope this helps
