Induction kits

Well guys got a new apexi induction kit a few weeks ago and want to improve the cold air feed to it.any suggestions??? :subaru:
 
there's two things you can do, firstly try make a heat shield between the engine and filter to stop heat soak and then secondly run a flexy duct from the fog cover or run one from the exicting air intake on the front left in the engine bay
 
Here's my solution, it's a wrx spot cover with some flexy tinfoil type hose :thumbsup:

I like that idea of the heat shield johnny.and nick,I presume you just run the flex pipe straight up to the filter?you don't know where I could find a wrx fog light?I think the blob eye fogs are pretty big.
