Aliright lads i have a bug eye and its only front wheel drive would it be a big job to change it to 4wd or would i be better just to get a new car ?

Pullin figures out of the poop shoot now but you're probably looking at about €2k for parts and labour for a standard 5 speed set up. A lot of money when you can nearly get a bug wrx for that plus your own on a trade in :ponder:

Would be handy for the winter time

Why o why i have to ask.. you have too much time on your hands man.

My time is all fairly well spoken for im afraid Denis

One other point too, the AWD will suck the life out of engine so while it will be good in the snow, you probably won't have the power to make it an issue in the first place. Fuel consumption will rise sharply too. I think Sweetcakes might be a little generous there on prices, would that be s/h parts? This might require an engineers attention I would have thought too. As all the others said, for a few bob more you could probably get a clean enough AWD, turbo or not.
