Mapping v Octane Booster

Well lads i have a B4 Legacy which i have been running it on normal fuel but the engine chugs every now and again it was very annoying i thought it was the clutch because it was starting to slip so i changed the clutch and flywheel but it was still chugging every now and again. then today i was down getting a new wheel bearing and i seen some Octane Booster's for sale so i got a bottle for the craic and put it in to the tank when i fulled it. and well it stopped all the chugging and she sounds a little better to. so it made me think should i map or buy a load of Octane Booster's. i know this might open a can of worms and for that i am sorry but i am trying to get a ball park on the price for a re-map that includes a ecu. thanks

Remap will cost you around €900

Try using Maxol E5 in the mean time, you won't need a replacement ecu they can "flash" your standard one. You should also get increased performance as well as piece of mind from a remap.
