Could be anything, if its flashing all the time its giving a code and you need to get a dignostic machine plugged in to determine whats wrong

il put it on the machine later and see what code it has, i added some booster incase it was bad fuel, its running perfect but light is staying on ,

light is staying on at the minute, no obvious loss off power or anything. il put it onto the machine and see if its the knock sensor or what, are these bosch or subaru got?

Re: engine management light on

P0037
Rear oxygen sensor heater circuit malfunction

right, sensor 2 behind the cat, P0037 Bank 1 Sensor 2

this is the lambda sensor behind the cat isnt it and is handy to change? Spurious one ok?

car is a bugeye wrx

Think your better off going with a genuine Subaru one in the long run.

No to hard to get at, Think it 24mm spanner to take it off, try and do it in one

solid go(good thump and crack it), not damage the threads. Good luck

Warm the car up before removing the sensor it'll come out easier that way, obviously wear gloves so you dont burn the hands off yourself
