Just wondering how often the Clifford alarms should be serviced? Over the last couple of weeks, every now and again when I've gone to unlock the car its not sounding like it usually would. Kind of like the sound it would make if the batteries were dead/going.

Anyone heard this before? Is there a battery pack on the siren part itself on the Cliffords?

Service it out over the ditch, i hate Clifford alarms, the most troublesome over rated annoying cont of a thing.. Most alarms run along side you cars electronics, Clifford takes over and runs the car..

Peter fitted my Clifford!!!
Very pleasant guy who seemed to know his stuff very very well

I wouldnt have any other alarm than a Clifford. Im a bit surprised at the comments above. I find the Clifford easy to use and never had a problem with the 2 I have had.

Both fitted my MDS Ireland.

Have to agree with andy here, ive a clifford fitted by mds over 2 years know and its never missed a beat. Nice lads to deal with and when i had a few stupid questions to ask after i had it fitted they where always on the other end of phone ready to help out

As regards to servicing it says in the brochure every year but ive never done a thing with mine since fitted with the exception of replacing fob batteries.

Peter at MDS done my clifford never gave any trouble

have clifford and it gave up completely back in the winter. couldnt figure out what was wrong with it. Called brendan in MDS and he done his best to talk through everything it could be but couldnt get it sorted. in the end he came down to sligo on a saturday evening and had it fixed in 15 minutes. Turned out it was the ariel reciever for the alarm. Was a reasonable price for driving from dublin to sligo, changing part, service of it and new fob. Couldnt recommend highly enough.
