fitting sti rear lamps on classic

Got a pair of used sti tail lamps of Froggy this evening
what is the best way to remove my old ones
had a quick google search and it said hair dryer for the sealant :dontknow:
is this the best way
just im afraid ill damage my car doing it
any advice apreciated

Time and patience, taking the old sealer off is a pain but make
Sure to remove all of it, then get yourself a decent flexible sealer
To put on the new ones, don't be tempted just to stick the new ones
On with the old sealer that's left behind or they will leak water into the
Boot.
