have a 99 v5 sti, has vf 28 what would be a good turbo upgrade? also it has a fmic i also am going to change bov when i m getting re map any ideas? :icon_jook: :new_2gunsfiring_v1:

vf 48 would be the bollock

stituning has new ones very cheap

sorry ali

taught you only had one of these, great price for a new turbo

500 euro delievered to the door, you would pay that for a second hand vf35 with 40k miles

TD05 stock or with 18 or 20G wheels/compressor housing. And consider induction and a catch can before the remap too. But note you are then into OE 5MT gearbox munching territory!

What power are the 48s rated for?
[/quote]

OEM turbo from 2010 STi so I'd imagine good for 310/320 tops.

I would have thought with the right upgrades they'd be good for 350-360... :dontknow:

lads in england running 350/360 from them

there running 320 from the factory so will push out abit more

I read on SN some lad was running up to 400 on one of these with quite an aggressive map, along with all the appropriate mods...? :dontknow:

I would have though 350/360 was a conservative figure on these...? :ponder2:
