rear lights question

i was thinking about detangoing my rear lights by changing the orange to black
has anybody ever done this
i remember years ago there was a spray to do this
id rather try and get a tint on it
any one have any advice on best way to go about it and what type of tint etc.

going for the dark look on the car
try it for a while and when i get pulled ill go sti :thumbsup:
