clock spring replaced..airbag light staying on..?

Sunday Drivers
just wounderin if anyone could help..??
replaced clock spring as airbag light not comin on at all(failed nct)..horn not working..so replaced it ther,horn working fine..no airbag light..then had a look to see if blub had been removed..and it had..!! :hjtwofinger: so put in blub bk in airbag light stayin on now all the time...disconnected battery for over hour too see it would reset fault ect...no joy...wot should i do next next..??
its a wrx sti v5 type r :thumbsup:
 
Did you fail because there was no airbag light?
I took my bulb out because it wouldn't go off spent a fortune on it with no luck but always passed nct even when on.
Il just change the steering wheel when it comes up in a few months
Maybe see if you can borrow a Nardi or similar of somebody on here

air bag could have been triggered in past on car and the module needs to be replaced

Airbag module could have been triggered. Or clock spring got or wiring along line still has an issue.

ya fail because of no light coming on at all..nct report say's malfunction indicators (60) airbags.......(Reason).....not working..??.
ya i am thinking il just change the streeing wheel..i might just try a diff airbag tomorr as i can gey one handy..
i have seen a few cars pass with the airbag light on,strange..horn wasnt working at the time they didnt pull me on tat....evey test is different..!!

clock spring was working fine in last car..it could have been damaged since..! airbag module just under ash tray is'nt it..?? i wil get one and try it..its a matter of eliminating things :huh: ..could be wiring too..hope not..

ya i will fix it properly just runing out a time for the retest..
