Tracking Rod?

Had bad drive down from cork last week and since then i have noiticed a creeking sound when i come into my drive or tight lock of the wheel.
was just outside and with the car sitting normally, wheels straight ahead - i grab the top of the wheel and pull it towards me and you can feel a wee bit of play - doesnt do this on the drivers side.

When i try twist the wheel left to right its solid.


so am i right to say its the tracking rod?

Sounds like a wheel bearing to me.
Jack it up on that side and see if there is Play when you grab
Bottom and top of wheel and rock it.

ok - will do it in the morning.

if its da bearing, that something that needs to be fixed ASAP? and if so you think it be costly?

depending on how loose it is,id get it done soon.

well jacked her up this morning and with the wheel off the ground there wasnt any play apart from when u pull the wheel torwards you and push it back it moves about 1mn or less something but does that from both sides on da front - thats just play in the drive shaft?
