My engine light keeps comming on and i pluged it in to the computer and it showing fan rationaly check (p0483) Can anyone tell me what this is and how to fix it ????? :thumbsup:
 
i presume the light only comes on if stoped for a short while

is the fans coming on? and is both coming on or do you only have one

coolant temp sensor could be on the way out
 
The light is comming on when driving it flases first and then comes on all the time the fans are working grand kicking in when they are needed but the temp guage on the clocks keeps hitting as high as it can go and then goes back to normal but the car isnt over heating
 
Rite lads only got around to putting in the coolant temp sensor and im still having the same problem !!! Anyone any ideas ??
 
Does the temp go above normal when the light flashs.

I'd guess an air lock since you've changed the temp sensor already.
 
Yeah the guage will be reading as high as it goes when the light comes on most of the time its when the car is ticking over at lights ect ..
