Hunting Idle

Hi Folks car still hunting idle it only happens when the car is in tickover and its not there all the time so I was wondering should I order new MAF or could it be something apart from the MAF many thanks John L. I did clean Maf sensor and it did stop for a while cheers :thumbsup:

make sure the BOV piping is secure and also the piping on the boost solenoid. Also check the intercooler connections on either end and make sure all is tight
 
Did a fault light/Check Engine Light come on.

Get a scan test done, tell you what the exact fault is.

Could be a carbon/dirt covered sensor.
 
Thanks and that is why Im confused no CEL and problem is intermittent its not there all the time cheers John L.
 
MAF can still be faulty with out check engine light on...try another car and check that way.... :thumbsup:
