Spun Rod/ Big End Bearing/ Bent Valve??

Well lads, as you may know there is a nice ratteleing noise coming from my Wagon.
I keep gettig mixed opinions about it though.

At 1st I was told it was tappets, but it seems to loud for tapets??
Secondly, I was told it's a bent valve.
And thirdly, I'm assuming I blew the big end bearing.

The noise is very noticable on start-up, but quietens down when the oil is pumped around.
The tapping can sometimes go from a constant noise, to a tap once every few seconds.

The car has lost some power, as it struggles to reach 6,000 rmp now.

So I'm wondering, is the big end is gone, is it not a constant noise that never goes away??
If it's a bent valve, would that noise come and go??
Or what ese could it be??

Thanks in advance :)

Id be nearly certain its 100% big end bearing failure mate

I wouldnt be running the engine to be honest as the piston is slapping around inside the cylinder and therefore possibly damaging the piston and block beyond repair!

Best thing to do is get someone with experience to look at it!!!!
The traders on the site here are very good!!!
