hey folks anyone know if a timing belt for a legacy 96 gtb is a chain driven one or not? curious is if ever needs to be replaced. cheers. John

Its a rubber belt, needs to be changed every 40-50,000kms or so...

Some cars use chains rather than rubber belts for the timing so they rarely need changing
